Day 2: (06.01) The mindset of a nation

A great playground on top of Singapore Sustainable Gallary
The Botanic garden and the design of the infrastructure, the content, the messages Singapore make- all inspire and teach me the mindset of a strong nation.
My first destination today was to “Singapore sustainable gallery” that exhibits important discovery about natural disaster, human consumption and important natural resources with the aim to raise the awareness of people about sustainability.
Then on the top of the building there comes a kite-flying area for children and camping-site for families, friends… and a nice walking/relaxing/ enjoying ground ever. It looks over a pearl blue beach with big canoes in the mingling of wind and sunshine. My afternoon was fulfilled watching people in the middle of nature, especially watching Hai Yen’s family flying kite together. The sense of belonging aroused on me to stand firmly in a windy and green floor with hope and love.

Jinhao kindly offered me a trip around the cool Botanic garden with the collection of thousands of kinds of plants around the world. They are all carefully preserved and considered as a huge treasure to entertain people and teach them how to treasure the nature. The garden also acts as the holistic symbol of Singapore because the cool design like a tropical forest and particularly the meaningful messages inside the Lost World.

Where are you now since the evolution of human called Anthropocene?
How does global climate change affect the future of your community?
Why is it important to green our cities?
How can we adapt our behaviours to reduce our footprint on the environment?
That’s a small part of a bunch of valuable messages transformed in a modern city-in-a-garden- Singapore.
The Lost World
