Hai Yen is a warm-heart person though personally I feel she sometimes is cold outside.

My heart suddenly turned exciting and grateful when I said hello to her at the airport after 2 months and for the second time then she “HEY” and gave me a hug. That short moment immediately relieved my nervousness and warmed my heart. She is a busy person but came there & wait for me in 1 hour. Sometimes, whenever thinking about her kindness and politeness to me, I am worried that I will make her disappointed with me as my poor skills and knowledge.

It can’t be all the time to say “I am confident in myself” as to a degree, I know nothing. Thinking positively is not always present as some pressure or expectation of others will turn me down.

On the way back from the airport to her house, she told me about social entrepreneurship and her journey to find partners who have large network which is beneficial and potential for her educational products. She made me clearly understand the real definition of social enterprises and charity. Today, I one more time listened about overcome my “self” to be curious and ask questions thus I will know where I am and what I need to learn. The amazing libery ever been to

Like destiny, the lesson I learn today is exactly the title of the book I read at the amazing library ever seen called “Connecting through the space between us” in the psychology category. Not only Hai Yen but also her husband, her parents in law, her children, her babysitter all cared and welcomed me. It was not my first time to be nicely treated but the feeling seems never to be a familiar one. The connection is such a powerful energy to overcome difference of distance, space, ages, jobs, or intelligence.

Not to mention, I am immediately connected to the super modern and “civilized” appearance and quality of this ingenious island- Singapore. Get ready and relax for a journey ahead!
