Learn new skills by myself instead of waiting for others’ help

The simple lesson is I only regret about what I did not do, rather than what I did

I have many troubles with my laptop thus I carefully had the laptop expert check it out before my important trip. Unfortunately, today there popped up a stupid fault in my audio device. As usual, I asked my close friend, a smart guy majoring in IT, to use teamview and fix it.

What happens if he is busy and no one is available to help me out? I asked the expert to do the same for me but he could not, either. My very first thought in these kinds of cases is to seek for help. But in some academic challenges, I would of course try to do by myself initially.

The solution in this situation is to learn how to figure it out on my own by all means. I got into this issue equaling that many people do, too. That means the issue can be totally tackled by the way that I do not know and hesitate to learn.

Then I spent 30 minutes like many times previously watching some guidance videos on Youtube then applied the new skill into my miserable laptop. The result did not reach my expectation as the problem is quite serious and still needs assistance, however, I did try my best to rock the “error”. It is still much better than I did nothing or just depending on others.

The simple lesson is I only regret about what I did not do, rather than what I did.
